Rev. Richard Dill Macky

Richard Macky was born at Lisfannan on 13 September 1847, a son of William Macky and Susannah Dill. He became a Presbyterian minister and reportedly reached New South Wales in 1884, adopting Dill as part of his name. A church history places him at Byron Bay from 1905 to 1912. A newspaper report places his death in Sydney on the Saturday before 24 June 1929, interpreted as 22 June.
