Biography
Susan Greenslade married Thomas Daunt Lord in the Bahamas in 1810. They came to Van Diemen’s Land with their family in January 1825. Their eldest daughter Lavinia married Henry Mundy, who painted portraits of both Susan and Thomas around 1840. Susan died at Okehampton, Spring Bay, on 7 September 1849. Her birth is placed around 1792, but her exact birthplace and parents remain unresolved.
