The life of Kathleen Hammond “Kath” Good Joyce
Biography
Kathleen Hammond Good married Doug Joyce at the Wakefield Street Unitarian Church in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, in November 1935.
Kath and Doug were the parents of Kaye and Cherie. Their early involvement in Australian Scientology is preserved in family testimony. A secondary account citing a newspaper interview describes Kath as Mary Sue Hubbard’s housekeeper in Sussex, in southern England.
Her birth is estimated around 1912–1913; family chronology places her death in 1999.
The wedding is dated to November 9, 1935 by the Saturday reference in the report published on Monday November 11.
