Charles Douglas “Doug” Joyce

Family chronology places Charles Douglas “Doug” Joyce’s birth around 1910 and his death in 1997. His family’s later home was in Victoria.[1]

On 9 November 1935 he married Kathleen Hammond “Kath” Good Joyce at the Unitarian Church in Wakefield Street, Adelaide. The contemporary wedding report gives his names in the order Douglas Charles Joyce.[1,3]

Their daughters included Kaye Joyce and Cherie Joyce Ceberano. Family testimony and public accounts also identify Doug and Kath among the early participants in Scientology in Australia.[1,2]
