Biography
Leon Bourassa traded and held land in the region now occupied by Forest Park, Illinois. Its historical society records his acquisition of land in 1839 and describes Leon and his Potawatomi wife, Mnetoqua, caring for ancestral burial places there. The property was sold in 1851.
