Biography
Anna Staples married Mason Pickering on October 31, 1804; the marriage record names her father as Stephen. Louisa Pickering’s death return identifies Anna Staples as her mother.
She was probably the Anna born on December 21, 1784, to Stephen and Susannah Staples, although that identification remains conditional and does not establish Susannah’s maiden name. Her death date remains unknown; 1855 is an unverified tree claim.
