The life of Mason Pickering
Biography
Mason Pickering, recorded as Asa’s son and a resident of Mendon, married Anna Staples on October 31, 1804. A published family account gives his birth as September 9, 1782. His father’s 1808 will left him four hundred dollars in addition to earlier provision.
His death date remains unknown; the reported 1843 year is an unverified tree claim.
