The life of François Xavier Caisse
Biography
François Xavier Caisse was the father of Melina Caisse. When Melina married Hervey Caillouette at St Mary, Illinois, on April 2, 1893, she named François Xavier as her father and Marie Regnier as her mother. Her marriage joined the Caisse and Caillouette families in the community she gave as both her birthplace and her home.
