Edith Marion Joyce

Edith M. Joyce was named as Lavinia Lopez’s daughter in the 1924 death notice. She lived at 76 Argyle Street, Hobart. She is probably Edith Marion Joyce, the wife of Thomas Paul Joyce whose marriage and divorce were reported in 1927. Those reports describe an April 1903 Hobart marriage, separation in 1922 and Edith’s move to South Australia in November 1926. Her proposed identification as Doug Joyce’s mother remains unresolved.
