The life of Margaret Ann Robinson Good
Biography
Margaret Ann Robinson married Thomas Charles Good at Dalby, inland from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, on September 30, 1869. Their wedding announcement names her father as Arthur John Robinson. The family evidence strongly connects her with Margaret, the living daughter aged 49 recorded in Hannah Robinson’s 1904 death register, suggesting a birth around 1854–1855. Hannah’s maiden name was Mitchell.
Margaret’s later life was associated with South Australia. Her death notice identifies her as Thomas Charles Good’s widow, formerly of Mount Compass. She died on October 16, 1933 at 11 Flinders Avenue in Reade Park, Adelaide, the home of her daughter, Mrs Alexander.
She is the probable mother of Albert Edmund Good, the coach and motor-service driver.
