Biography
Born in Hawaii, Tino Ceberano joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1959. Martial-arts biographies describe combat instruction and reconnaissance-related training in Fleet Marine Force Pacific; they do not establish a precise Marine rank.
After moving to Australia in 1966, Ceberano organized Goju karate and later founded International Goju Karatedo. He received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2019 for service to karate.
