The life of Arline Nourie

Text size

Biography

Arline Nourie was a daughter of Alfred Nourie and Delilah Bourassa. Her name appears in the family's 1917 directory entry and in the later family account published in the Hownikan. These records place her within the Nourie family associated with Beaverville, in Iroquois County in northeastern Illinois.

Paul Lareau's family reconstruction carries her story into an adult household under the spelling Arlene. It links her with Edward Mullenkord and names children Robert and Jackie. That outline supplies a married-family lead for a woman previously represented chiefly in her parents' child list.

The 1986 Hownikan family account also names Arline Nourie among Alfred Nourie and Delilah Bourassa’s children.
