Biography
Lorraine Nourie Lewis’s 1986 Hownikan account records Delilah Bourassa’s birth at Maple Hill, Kansas, and her move to Beaverville, Illinois, as a small child. Delilah married Alfred Nourie in 1888. They raised eleven children.
The family-supplied Citizen Potawatomi Nation roll image places Delilah directly above Eugene Chester Nourie. Lorraine’s published account preserves her grandmother’s photograph and the names of the children.
