Their story
Perrine Meunier migrated with Julien Daubigeon in 1653 while their eldest daughter Jeanne remained in Brittany. Julien died in 1655. The family history also records the brief life of their infant Claire and Perrine's remarriage in 1658. A receipt issued at Clisson in 1677 preserves a later trace of the daughter who had stayed in France.
