Adam Wicks Walker

Biography

Adam Wicks Walker's business interests have crossed internet advertising, entertainment and music. The son of Sandra Kay Hequet Walker and Douglas Wicks Walker, he has often used “Wicks” professionally.

A contemporary trade-show profile places him at Hydra Media in April 2005 as its investor-relations contact. Hydra described a business combining performance-based advertising, affiliate marketing and other internet ventures. The listing offers a dated glimpse of Adam's role during the company's early years.

The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, in the city’s center in southern California, later named him as its treasurer. Its board biography described him as a strategist and dealmaker who had built Hydra and gone on to the advertising network W4. His interests also extended to Unnamed Music, an independent record label; a partnership in Intrinsic Entertainment; and backing for EverTune, a musical-instrument technology company.

The Art Walk role brought those business interests into a public arts organization. His board profile also noted his enjoyment of music, art and motorcycles. It is a picture of overlapping commercial and creative work, with the treasurer's position providing a specific record of his service to the downtown Los Angeles arts community.

The family’s September 2026 account records that Adam had no children at that time.
