The life of Camille Louis Joseph Hequet
Biography
Camille Louis Joseph Hequet was born at Biache-Saint-Vaast, in the Pas-de-Calais area of northern France, on June 18, 1854 to Antoine François Hequet and Augustine Joseph Marmouzet. He became a tourneur en fer, an iron turner: a worker using a lathe to shape metal. The occupational description places him in skilled metalworking.
Camille married Juliette Joseph Bertelle on July 24, 1875, shortly after his twenty-first birthday. The compiled record places Juliette's death in 1878. On September 19 of that year Camille married Clémence Aimée Depierre at Biache. The sequence records a first marriage, bereavement and a second household within a short span.
Their son Jules was born in 1882.
