Biography
Charles Hecquet married Marie Anne Ponce, also rendered Pons in the family material. The existing research describes him as a brewer and censier, or tenant farmer and leaseholder.
The family ledger gives his birth as 11 October 1646; a Geneanet reconstruction gives about 1645. Both give his death as 9 August 1690. The birth-date difference remains unresolved.
