Biography
Caleb Mirick helped provide infrastructure for the new Princeton district. John and Caleb Mirick offered the site for its first meetinghouse, a building that also served local government. Caleb’s barn initially held the town pound, and a historical account names him as poundkeeper in1761–62. A published Jones genealogy identifies this Princeton resident by his1728 birth, parents James and Mary Woolson, and marriage to Eunice Jones.
