The life of Marguerite Vinaut

Text size

Biography

Marguerite Vinaut was the mother of the Savart children of Montreuil, just east of Paris, France, identified in the French-origin dossier: Jean, Simon, Guillaume, and Marie. Their baptismal entries extend from 1618 to 1627, locating the family repeatedly in Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul parish.

Her husband Simon was a wheelwright. Their son of the same name continued in that trade and married Marie Hordoville in 1644.
