Text size

Biography

Marguerite Bardin was the mother of Anne Le Laboureur and wife of Thomas Le Laboureur. The family is associated with Caen, in Normandy in northern France, while Anne's later marriage belongs to Québec city, on the St. Lawrence River in present-day Canada. A compiled account distinguishes the marriage contract made before Guillaume Audouart on July 8, 1656 from the church ceremony ten days later.

Marguerite's surname also appears as Charadin in a genealogical note.
