Text size

Biography

The elder Adrien St-Aubin and Jacqueline Presar are identified as the parents of a younger Adrien associated with Saint-Rémy in Dieppe, a port on the English Channel coast of Normandy, France. The son’s estimated birth around 1648 places the parental household in the mid-seventeenth century.

The younger Adrien later appears in Canada: a compiled account places him in Charles Le Moyne's household as a servant in 1667. He married Jeanne Marguerite Blois at Montréal in 1680.
