The life of Jacqueline Presar
Biography
Jacqueline Presar's name survives through the family of Adrien St-Aubin of Dieppe, a port on the English Channel coast of Normandy, France. She and the elder Adrien were the parents of the younger man who later settled in New France. One genealogical compilation renders her surname Presseau; her surname also appears as Presar.
Her son arranged a marriage contract in August 1679 and married Jeanne Marguerite Blois at Montréal in February 1680.
