Biography
Elizabeth Corse, later recorded under forms including Elisabeth Lacasse, was taken captive during the 1704 attack on Deerfield and carried to Canada. The Deerfield museum identifies her as the daughter of James Corse and Elizabeth Catlin. She later married Jean Dumontet and, afterward, Pierre Monet.
