Biography
Nancy Ann Hequet Ekstrom, daughter of Charles Hequet and Lois Annette Brandt, preserved an account of her father's upbringing, work and family moves. Her signed recollection of 11 April 2023 names René and Dorine as the relatives who raised him after his parents died. She also identified a limit in the family record: she knew of no birth certificate establishing his birthplace.
