Biography
Constance Hopkins crossed the Atlantic on the Mayflower at fourteen. In 1644, she settled at Eastham with her family. The household inventory of 1676 listed spinning equipment and homemade fabric. Pilgrim Hall Museum treats those objects as possible evidence of her clothmaking, rather than proof that every item was her work.
