Their story
Mary Brewster was born about 1569, probably in Yorkshire or Nottinghamshire, England. With her husband, William Brewster, she lived in exile with an English Separatist community at Leiden, in the Netherlands, before crossing the Atlantic on the Mayflower in 1620.[3]
Their young sons Love and Wrestling travelled with them. The family’s six children also included Jonathan, Patience and Fear, and a child who died young. Jonathan reached Plymouth in 1621; Patience and Fear followed in 1623.[3,4]
Mary died at Plymouth in April 1627.[3]
