Biography
David Babcock's will divided farms among his descendants. The family compilation dates the will to 1782 and its probate to 1783. It also records the transfer of two enslaved women, Phylis and Coocoo, to his wife, Dorcas Brown. Their names survive in the disposition of the household's property.
