01BIOGRAPHY

Life in context.

79. Marguerite Bertrand (18th century)
Marguerite appears in the current vetted older Bourassa sequence as the spouse of Daniel Bourassa I and mother in the line leading to Daniel II. Public narrative material about her is scarce, but preserving her name is essential because she contributes half of the ancestry at this generation and helps keep the older Bourassa story from collapsing into a surname-only male line.
Evidence status. Direct working ancestor; original parish evidence remains a research goal.
Citizen Potawatomi Nation roll-line image supplied by the family. This is an official-record image, not a portrait.
Research sources: Grand Master v6.1 Bourassa direct working line
