75. Harriet Zeviah / Zerviah Pope Carpenter (1842–1925)
Harriet married Francis Wood Carpenter and became mother of Gilbert Congdon Carpenter. Family correspondence had incorrectly remembered Lemira Tiffany as Francis’s wife; the deeper genealogy shows Lemira was Francis’s mother. Restoring Harriet’s name is important because otherwise an entire female line—the Pope/Beers branch—disappears from the family history.
Evidence status. Direct relationship strong in the reconstructed Carpenter line.
