33. Charles Hequet (1927–2015)
Charles grew up in Kankakee after the early deaths of Jules and Leontine Hequet. National-cemetery records identify him as U.S. Army and World War II. Family-biography material says he served about a year, then worked at Kroehler, Western Tire & Auto, and later rose to a corporate real-estate role with Color Tile. He is buried at Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery. No rank is assigned because the cemetery record lists branch and war, not rank.
