Capt. John Wick

John Wick, husband of Temperance Barnes, appears in a historical-society genealogy as a Suffolk County sheriff and magistrate. The transcription of his 1718 will gives a more particular view of the household: proceeds from land were set aside for a son's college education, and money was assigned for family support until the youngest child could learn a trade.
