57. Antoine Hecquet (c. 1580–after 1649)
The compiled archival pedigree describes Antoine as a négociant in Abbeville, probably a master merchant rope-maker after his father. He appears in records across several decades and married Marie de Monchaux in 1606. Their children created several important Hecquet branches, including Madison’s direct line and the collateral line that later produced physician Philippe Hecquet.
