47. George Duncan MacKy (1880–1940)
George was born in Kilderry, County Derry, and later settled in New South Wales, marrying Amy Lisette King in 1908. Descendant research and the published “Dr James Macky Story” strongly connect him to Dr. James Dill Macky’s family, but the decisive Irish birth/baptism record naming George’s father has not yet been recovered. That missing record is one of the most important remaining proof points in the maternal tree.
Evidence status. Direct identity strong; parent bridge to Dr. James Dill Macky remains probable, not sealed.
