01BIOGRAPHY

Life in context.

35. Tino Ceberano OAM (born 1941)
Born in Hawaii, Ceberano joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1959. Martial-arts biographical sources describe Fleet Marine Force Pacific duties involving armed and unarmed combat instruction and reconnaissance-related training; an official personnel file would be required for a precise Marine rank. After moving to Australia in 1966, he became a major organizer of Goju karate, later founding International Goju Karatedo. Australia awarded him the OAM in 2019 for service to karate.
Evidence status. Relationship is publicly corroborated through Cherie Joyce; military duties come from martial-arts biography, while exact rank remains unverified.
Joyce–Ceberano relationship diagram based on the family record and independent public corroboration. It is not a portrait.
